Hand dyed in small batches by artisans in Interlaken, New York, this colorway is part of Schaefer's Memorable Knitter's Collection. Elizabeth Zimmerman revolutionized knitting in the US through her many books, patterns, workshops and public TV series.
The mohair in this yarn gives a slightly fuzzy halo and makes for an oh-so-soft fabric. It makes beautiful socks as well as lace.
