Blue Moon Fiber Arts, Socks that Rock Lightweight: Byron Lee Tipsy
A bit heavier than a true fingering weight, thus called lightweight, this is the most popular version of BMFA's signature Socks that Rock line. A 3-ply with a lot of energy and "boing factor" as they call it, it is well rounded and has remarkable stitch definition. Use it for socks and anything you fancy.
Dyer's color notes: Part of the Tipsy Clan, a high spirited southern family, slightly touched right at the tip with color. Byron Lee is the Tipsy family patriarch and the warmth to Sadie's coolness. Imagine it's a sultry warm day, you're paddling in a canoe and you glide along under the trees, so laden in moss, that they are dripping in it. Sunlight not only peeks through all that moss making dancing shadows but also illuminates in a way that makes you think it's moss-shine, not moonshine (that's Jasper Jenkins Tipsy).
